Arthur W. Roberts

Services for Arthur W. Roberts, of  608 Silverside Road, Holly Oak, will be at 1 p.m., Thursday in Beeson Funeral Home & Chapel, Bellevue, where friends may call after 12 noon.  Burial will be in Lower Brandywine Cemetery, Centreville.

Mr. Roberts, 44, was found dead Friday at home.  Two former residents have been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in connection with the death, state police said.

Mr. Roberts was a salesman with Re-Max Realty, Ltd., Wilmington.  He was a volunteer with the AIDS Hospice Program and had cared for AIDS patients.  He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and was a former organist at Trinity Presbyterian Church and Asbury United Methodist Church of Wilmington Manor.  He is survived by his father Wesley M. of Cardiff; and a sister, Margie R. Rayfield of San Jose, Calif.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to charity.
